Good news for Costume Quest and Gone Home fans, Costume Quest 2 is coming to PC and consoles and Gone Home the award winning PC game published by The Fullbright Company is coming to consoles this Fall with the help of Midnight City and Majesco Entertainment Company. Costume Quest 2 is a sequel to Costume Quest an adventure role-playing video game developed by Double Fine Productions and published by THQ. Over the past few months Marvel games such as Marvel vs Capcom 3, Dead Pool and X-Men Arcade have been pulled off digital stores such as Steam, XBLA, and PSN, if you have been wondering why, it looks like Marvel is trying to build up a connected universe. Nexon Europe is one step closer to launching the multiplayer online brawler, Lost Saga, as the closed beta comes to an end. Having seen enormous success, the beta engaged the rapidly expanding Lost Saga community in helping shape the title in the final stages before launch.
Providing an extensive cast of characters from the greatest heroes of our world and beyond, battling it out over a variety of maps, Nexon Europe welcomed a huge number of users testing the closed beta. Players took control of over 100 characters from myths, sci-fi, history and legends, coming together for relentless brawling action.

The German indie developer The Games Foundation has successfully launched the open beta for their mobile MMOG Hyperion Online. Designed specifically for tablets and smartphones, the free-to-play MMOG set in outer space is available on Google Play and is looking for brave space commanders to explore the galaxy in pursuit of fame and fortune. What exactly is a hardcore gamer? It seems like a simple enough question and yet the question can have thousands of different answers. Is there even a “right” answer? Vex explores the way that hardcore can simply be a matter of perspective and that what makes a gamer “hardcore” in one group of gamers can make him/her little more than a noob in another. He also explores the increased trend of games becoming easier and easier and how this is having a negative effect on the gaming community as a whole. Rockstar, the developer behind the hugely successful Grand Theft Auto V, will be awarded a British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Fellowship at the British Academy Games Awards this year.
Every year this honour is awarded and is the highest accolade given by the academy to recognize outstanding and/or exceptional contributions to television, film and games. Previous winners of the fellowship include Valve founder Gabe Newell, Fable creator Peter Molyneux and the “father of modern gaming” Shigeru Miyamoto.
