Nintendo Direct Reveals a Handful of New Games

Today’s Nintendo Direct was host to a whole bunch of new announcements and details, and although we don’t specifically cover Nintendo here at Gaming Enthusiast that’s no reason to be kept out of the loop. There was a whole host of big announcements coming out of todays event! One of which was the confirmation that after a considerable wait, Earthbound is finally coming to the virtual console in the west, then there’s the announcement that Bravely Default will also get localized for the western hemisphere. And last but not least, there’s the announcement of a whole new Zelda game for the 3DS that follows the A Link to the Past timeline.

That’s only a sampler, There’s also new details for the upcoming Super Luigi U downloadable content and an update for Pikmin 3 plus lots, lots more.

I was disappointed at first because it seemed like everything announced was a sequel with no fresh ideas. But, after watching the trailers again I warmed up to it.
