The game featured amazing graphics, excellent gun-play and a superb story that gave us one of the best OMG moments ever seen in gaming. Oh and did I forget the fantastic soundtrack that sent chills down your spine as you rode along a lonely frontier?

Grand Theft Auto V has Shipped 32.5 Million Copies

/ by Thom Edwards

We all knew that GTA V was going to sell extremely well, we weren’t surprised when we heard it was the best selling game of 2013. What we didn’t predict is that it’s close to being the best selling game of all time.

The current holder for the best selling game of all time is Nintendo’s Mario Kart Wii which has sold 34 million copies to date. It doesn’t take a maths genius to figure out that GTA might well beat that record if it keeps selling.

GTA V Is To Get ‘Substantial’ Single-Player DLC In 2014, Rockstar Games Confirms

/ by Alex Foote

Rockstar Games has confirmed there’s to be a batch of single-player DLC coming out for their record selling, Grand Theft Auto V, sometime in 2014.

The announcement was made on the Rockstar Games website, where they said. “For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto 5, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor’s action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas,”

The announcement made via the website also mentioned that co-op heist will be coming. They also say that there is “much more still to be announced”.

There is some new stuff heading out sooner, if you’ve lost a reason to play GTA V already, as Rockstar will launch a Deathmatch & Race creator beta on the 10th December, there’s also going to be a brand new mode titled ‘Capture’ launching sometime later this month.

Thanks for the heads up, VG247

Could Rockstar Games Be Working On A Bully Sequel?

/ by Alex Foote

What’s next for GTA V developers, Rockstar? Well it seems that the infamous ‘Bully’ game could be getting itself a sequel after trademarks for a “Bully Bullworth Academy: Canis Canem Edit” has been spotted on the internet.

There were a number of rumors that the title could be brought to life after a CV, discovered in October all but outed the IP. Obviously, Rockstar never confirmed, nor denied a follow up to Bully was in the works.

So here’s hoping that this is ‘something’, and the game will be announced sooner, rather than later.

Which Rockstar follow up would you like to see? Red Dead Redemption 2 would be our choice….Well, after a second Bully game, that is, we can’t get enough of the Highschool based game.

Rockstar Games Rolls Out Stimulus Package For GTA V Online

/ by Alex Foote

Remember that cool half-a-million dollars that Rockstar Games said they were going to inject into our GTAV in-game bank accounts? Well, some of you may have already noticed that you’re up 500-grand as they’ve started handing the in-game cash out.

Rockstar had this to say. “We expect that it will take up to 2 full days for the Stimulus Package to be fully delivered to the entire player base from October 2013, so please be patient if you do not see it appearing in your in-game bank account just yet. We will update this post on Friday when we expect all the GTA$ Stimulus Package deposits to have been completed.

“Thanks go out to everyone for their continued patience and understanding while we worked through these issues.”

So, what are you going to spend your GTA$’ on? A new house, pimp some cars, or just go throw it at half-naked women at the local strip joint?

Rockstar Games has releasd the latest patch update for GTA V’s Online. This portion of the game has had a number of problems since it released, early last month. Rockstar had previously fixed a number of issues; a number of frustrated gamers were still having problems with GTA’s cloud saving system, which resulted in loss of progress.

According to a post on the Rockstar Games blog, this update will fix the following issues.

• Built in measures to prevent users from losing their progress when there is a cloud outage
• Built in a number of measures to protect players’ cash balances even if there are network problems
• Fixed an issue where on rare occasions during network problems the player could lose their Online vehicle or mods after exiting GTA Online

They also ask for people to submit any further issues to them via their support team.

Rockstar has also informed us to when we’re going to be getting the first portion of the stimulus package saying, that the the GTA$’ will be rolling out sometime this week, and not to be worried if you don’t get yours before your friends, or if you get yours before your friends, everyone will get it eventually.
